Invitation for Expression of Interest – IT Consultant

  1. The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to acquire the services of an IT Consultant.
  2. We invite eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing IT Consultancy service. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to provide the services.
  3. Scope of Work
  • Assess the state of IT Infrastructure at a new office premises and also the existing systems at the Centre.
  • Recommend hardware, ancillary equipment, networks and software appropriate for the new environment.
  • Provide technical specifications for identified hardware, ancillary equipment, networks and software required for operations at the new premises.
  • Supervise the installation of hardware, ancillary equipment, networks, software and also configuration of systems by vendors and service providers.
  1. Competencies

The firm is required to possess extensive and proven track record on similar projects.

The firm must possess the skills of, or have access to an IT System Engineer to supervise multi-disciplinary IT services provider and vendors for migration of existing systems and installation of new systems according to specifications.

The firm must be able to provide systems specifications to facilitate procurement of identified hardware equipment, software and networks.

The Firm must be able to draw up a comprehensive work plan with timelines and performance indicators, together with a financial proposal for discussion and agreement with the Centre for execution.

  1. Interested eligible Consultants may obtain further information from the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, from 8th January 2018.
  2. Sealed proposals for the supply of IT Consultancy Services must be deposited in a Tender Box located at the Reception of the GIPC at or before 10:00 am, 12th January, 2018.
  3. Proposals must include the following documents:
  •  Business Registration Certificate
  • Certificate to Commence Business
  • SSNIT Clearance Certificate
  • Tax Clearance Certificate 
  1. A firm will be selected in accordance with the procedure set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2013 (Act 663) of the Republic of Ghana
